Buffett bought Level 3 bonds.

I'm trying to figure why he'd prefer their bonds.
I assume that means he has faith that the company will survive. Perhaps common shares would be harder for him to buy without driving the stock price way up? And also fluctuate a lot. Even more so by him making the float even smaller.

I wonder what the yield was on those?

How's the baby?

She's fine. Other than having a cold she's just wonderful.
Growing a little more each day. Every day I come home and she's changed a tiny bit.

She can see now so it fun watching her stare at things trying to figure out what they are.

<Edit> I see they were convertible bonds. Does that mean he can convert them to stock or something?
