No, I'm not kidding. I sold real estate for a long time, and I remember the days when everybody got by with black and white xeroxed photos of houses and some text.

It's not that way anymore. By the time you've finished a decent brochure that tells everything and shows everything about the house a buyer will want to know, you've published a book.

I realize in some areas, there are no such things as piles of brochures left at a listing for everyone to pick up. But around here, it's the norm. You follow the norm or get out of the business.

Also, I don't know the current price for those "virtual tours" of homes shown on the internet, but those are part of the package, too, and someone has to be paid to produce them. They were expensive at first--hopefully some competition in that realm has brought the prices down.
