If you limit people's ability to spend their money to get their message out then
you limit political speech.


No. They are still totally free to speak. 24/7. Anywhere they want to. to anybody who will listen.

You just limit their ability to dominate the conversation and drown out those without money.

Think about your position for a moment. If you claim that limiting the ability to spend money is limiting speech, then you are equating money with speech. Then you are saying that poor people with no money have no right of speech. It's that simple. Really.

If they silence those
that have the money to have their voice heard it doesn't mean that all the sudden your whisper will be heard across the
country.


But it does mean that the politicians actually might listen to the ideas that are being expressed by their constituents, not just to the money they bring to the campaign.
