Agreed.
With government there is no real accountability. We elect these Waa-Whoos and suddenly some guy or gall that makes 50k a year is running around ok'ing millions or billions in expenditures. Their heads swell with the attention it all brings and they feel themselves the smartest people on earth.
If they screw up like Davis here in Calif and turn a 21B surplus into a 8B debt. Because he doesn't want to pass electrical costs to the tax payer. "If he did it may screw up his re election bid and no amount of wasted tax dollars is worth that!" Making contract decisions in secret with an air of just trust me. Then we go and reelect the dip _hit! And pass another pile of bonds this past 5th equaling "as I understand" some 30B over X years! aaaahhhh!
La la land.
