His approval rating is noticeably lower in Western Canada than in the East, but that could be mostly because he is a Liberal. His tenure has been more competent than Trudeau's and he hasn't been quite as openly hostile to the West, so he hasn't accumulated the intense hatred that Trudeau had to deal with. -g
