It has.
or
How are things Mr. Forthright ?

The events of September 11th have created deep schisms in the international community and I believe this was one of the intended effects of those attacks. The current US/UN/Iraq confrontation has been very well handled by President Bush in that he has avoided unilateral action. The recent incident in Moscow and the Bali bombing will strengthen the UN resolve and each new crisis draws the moderate middle class of the world together.
I predict that the continued attacks will actually cause exactly the opposite effect that has been intended. The indiscriminate killing is intended to incite anti-Islamic rhetoric. This rhetoric is supposed to drown out the condemnations offered by moderates. A real reversal is occurring as continued discussion forges the real weapon that will bring Bin Laden and his ilk to justice, co-operation.

Bin Laden's only goal is personal power, this is very obvious, he subscribes to maximum chaos and sees himself as someone who will fill the vacuum. The support that he counted on from clerics around the world has failed to materialize and places of refuge have become very uncertain, I believe Bin Laden will captured and tried as a common criminal, Mr. Chretien will not be involved in his capture.
