Rapid Tooling is the ability to make tooling for mass production quickly from RP parts. A good example is making injection molds which can them be used to make high volumes of actual parts. As I understand it, the accuracy and surface finish of their modeler is not sufficient for these purposes. This represents a relatively new area for RP, moving from visualization to prototyping and now to tooling. The SSYS machine is more important in the first two areas but I believe the future of the industry is in rapid tooling. Again, these opinions are a reflection of my intrest in RP, not any sort of investment knowledge. The rule 'good product=good company' does not always hold true. This is especially true in a field with such a high rate of technological change. A 'good' product based on yesterday's technology may not be 'good' tomorrow. Good Luck, Brian
