I used to have hotmail for just a spare. . . I did not give it out to anyone. . . I ended up getting hundreds of email SPAM from people I never knew.

Then, Microsoft had the guts to ask me if I wanted to PAY for extra disk space to hold all of this JUNK!
I had to visit the Hotmail account once in awhile and delete all of the files.
Now, this is just a hunch. . . if your emails got close to the limit and wanted to exceed the limit (assuming you are NOT paying for extra space), perhaps it does some very strange things. . . I don't really know. . . I didn't let it get that far.

I finally deleted everything and UNINSTALLED it because it was taking up too much of my time just 'deleting files'!.

Good luck!

Joe
