Ted, I'm not belittling the deaths of hundreds of Aussies. It's despicable, it's cowardly, and it's evil. There is no debate.

I am saying that thanks to Bush, Al Qaeda is scattered and disorganized. They are still a major threat, but much less so than they were when the Taliban was still around.

Why do you keep asking me this? How about I ask you how you seem so sure of Osama's motives? Do we know anything?

I thought I made it clear that I knew just as much as you did. So don't hold me up to a standard that you yourself cannot meet.
