Let's see. Dell says they'll do $8.5 billion for this qtr. Dell comes back two months later and says, 'Ge folks, we're going to to $9.1 billion.'

Dell's stock goes up as a result.

Dell reports and says, 'Ge, we were true to our word, we did $9.1 billion. And not only that, but we may do $9.7 billion in the 4th!'

Hedge funds go to work in afterhours sending Dell down $1...and why?

Cause Dell didn't do more than $9.1 billion

But, Dell did do better than $8.5 billion it said it was originally going to do.

Live and learn, MD.

Next time MD needs need to say, 'Ge, we'll do $9 billion!' and then report $9.1 billion. As a result, the stock still goes to $30.00, but in afterhours it goes to $30.94.

Who pulled the il-logic chain on the afterhour sells or am I just that stupid?

The railroad engine coming is hard to hear above the screams of the natives.
