I agree... and consumers will spend less as jobs disappear. Perhaps Perot was right about that "Giant sucking sound". Every manufacturing job that leaves this country takes out a service job or two also. Every dollar no longer earned because a job went to China or Mexico is two or three more dollars lost because the money can't be rolled over again by those who would have received it.

I don't trust Greenie's opinion anymore. He has to hope things turn around because he can't chop interest rates much more. Hell, I put some of my money in a sock. Brokerage and bank accounts paying 1/10 to 1/2 percent and the market is a disaster, the sock seems like a good alternative for now.
