INDEPTH: Target Terrorism Mir Aima Kasi Mir Aima Kasi was convicted for the 1993 killings of two CIA employees as they sat in morning traffic outside the agency's Langley, Virginia, headquarters. The FBI says he did it to protest U.S. policy in the Middle East. Kasi was executed Thursday by lethal injection after both the U.S. Supreme Court and Virginia's governor refused to stay the execution.
