Interesting.. I did not know that although I have known couple of Parsees.. But it explains one thing that has been at the back of my mind.. Parsees' native language in India is Gujrati although they speak it with a charming accent on the letter 't' I guess it explains why they ended up speaking Gujrati..

Parsees are usually shown in comic situations in Indian cinema but usually no malice is intended.. However for any one who has an interest in indian cinema, look up a movie titled "Pestonji" with Naseeruddin Shah, Shabana Azmi and Anupam Kher.. Different from runofthemill indian movies.. art house but also shows Parsees in decline.. Worth a look..
