That is total crap. His approval ratings were well over 50%, he had a signal success in getting through his tax rebate, and he was otherwise doing fine working on education and defense issues, among others. He was taking a hit in the press due to foreign complaints about unilateralism, but he was doing well with maintaining domestic support.
There is no reason to blame individuals, as opposed to systemic flaws, about 9/11. Low tech suicide missions are among the hardest things to anticipate or detect. No one in a responsible position has made such outlandish insinuations as you and some of your buddies.
Politics is an integral part of the system, and, thankfully, paid off in strengthening the Republican position, and therefore the President's position, in Congress.
