No, I'm not pleased at all the my state will fall to 49th per capital in highway spending. (BTW, I'd appreciate a link for that statistic.)

The failure of R-51 should be a huge wake up call to our legislators that the voters of this state expect them to take more fiscal responsibility with the gas tax which is the 11th highest in the nation, and that we expect ACCOUNTABILITY. Unlike you, I refuse to blame the voters of this state for this situation.

It is an absolute crime that more hasn't been done to relieve the congestion and degradation of our roads and highways considering the millions this state collects in gasoline taxes.

Unfortunately, that is the standard our demolib governor has set.
