Well, yes. I had heard. But to use it as an insult, to people one has never seen, seems odd. I don't think you would say "You diabetic a**" or "you hypertensive a**", so one has to wonder what elevates this particular health concern to insult status. Or i wonder that. And then, I think about bulimia and anorexia, the result of our hatred and obsession with the bodies of women. We are a fat culture, obsessed with thinness. And I think if you use "fat", a health problem, as an insult, it says something- especially if you use it repeatedly, and target women.
