The only way anyone would watch it is if it was interjected with some nudity.

CSPAN does an excellent job purely through competence and lack of ad sales since it is a non-profit consortium channel.

Simply a channel like CSPAN devoted to politicians running for office, would get the attention of those who wished to be informed, which would be large numbers for certain issues.

Otherwise, it's impossible to get a variety of candidates' opinions and policies in any organized manner. The only exception are occasional debates that exclude non-Demo/Repubs, and highly misleading and biased ads. The Demo/Repubs have an incentive to exclude others. All a lobbyist industry has to do is gove $50k to BOTH parties to push their POV. It's less likely they'll get the same fealty from all across the spectrum.

A dedicated schedule on a candidate-channel would be interesting and informative beyond anything currently offered.
