Howdy Ish. I tagged a very nice buck a few weeks ago. I had been seeing little bucks for quite sometime and let them all walk. Then one morning I went out in the rain. I sat in my stand in the dark as it rained and even contemplated leaving. As the morning light entered the rain stopped, and I'm not talking anymore than ten minutes later a 10 point typical, about BC 170, stepped out to refresh his rub line. I drew the bow and that was that.

Now I'm in Virginia (almost). I'll be leaving in a few hours to hunt all day on my western VA property. I think we'll have rain, so I will be still-hunting. It's the last day for frontloading, so I'll be taking an inline in the rain. I usually use a sideloader these days for blackpowder, but I use the inline in the rain. Hope you get that salami.
