Roebear. Amen to that. But carrying on a war overseas while: 1. Our borders with Mexico and Canada are still wide open and... 2. Our oceanic shipping ports inspect no more than 2 or 3% of incoming cargo containers, is an open invitation to massive terror strikes!! Hardly the kind of policy indicative of a competent, functional national government. More a picture of a corrupt and moribund one tied in knots by petty bureaucratic turf battles and special interest payola. Really thought that 9/11 would have gotten the country in gear to deal with homeland security in a serious way, long before now. But, we are still so woefully unprepared and unprotected AFA even the most obvious necessary steps that maybe it's going to take a nuke in one of our major cities to snap the ruling elite of this country out of it's catatonic stupor. And wake up the reality that this isn't biz as usual. We can't continue to allow illegal aliens to pour over the border at will because they are cheap labor. Or continue to ignore the 13 million illegals roaming around the country, at will, without supervision. Isopatch
