"ESST's dvd decoder only works with DVD's encoded with ESST encoders..." To date, ESS has not spent any money in encoders. ESST's DVD decoder, by definition, is designed to work with DVD encoders made by systems using anyone's DVD encoder ICs that includes Cube, IBM, and others... So stop making unfounded statement about Cube's competition.
