We can be grateful we have the ACLU to protect our civil liberties. Yesterday, a federal district judge In Los Angeles blocked a provision
of the transportation security law requiring airport screeners to be citizens.

What is so good about aliens being airport screeners? How can you realistically require an alien to take a loyalty oath? You and I are citizens and should have civil rights that separate us from non-citizens. Should non-citizens have the civil right of voting. Can a screener be an illegal alien, after all they are non-citizens? BTW I disagree with aliens serving in the Armed Services also and for the most part think they should not have government jobs except under strict needs and guidelines. I would encourage resident aliens to become citizens ASAP. There is no benefit in diminishing citizenship by blurring the lines of civil rights and responsibilities.
