This company is now Rivera Explorations Inc (RVE) Here is the full text of the VSE notice: RIVERA EXPLORATIONS INC. ("RVE") [formerly Riva Petroleum Inc. ("RVA")] NOTICE TYPE: Name Change and Consolidation NOTICE DATE: July 23, 1997 Pursuant to a special resolution passed by shareholders June 20, 1997, the Company has consolidated its capital on a 5 old for 1 new basis and has subsequently increased its authorized capital. The name of the Company has also been changed from Riva Petroleum Inc. to Rivera Explorations Inc.. Effective at the opening July 28, 1997, the common shares of Rivera Explorations Inc. will be posted and called for trading on the Vancouver Stock Exchange, and the common shares of Riva Petroleum Inc. will be delisted. The Company is classified as a `Venture' company.
