When I visited in Germany in January I was struck by how even in comparison to Australia people seemed un-entrepreneurial and cynical about the future. Australians are no where near as extreme in the opposite direction as Americans, but some of the attitudes of my friends there were difficult to understand. They are amazed by my flipping around the World, trying to make money by trading/investing etc. Moomin
