When the system is fine tuned that there is, for single individual, a 'share' of the spoils, it is impossible to change it. It becomes calcified. Germany is a case in point. Wherever you touch, you touch a special interest. Everyone has a glass ceiling. Hence no stones are thrown.

Does it resemble the communist regimes of the East? Yes, it does. The sytems that can't be changed, fall due to be rotten to the core.

These European social democracies created to keep the people looking Eastwards for a "better" way, have ran its course. They can't be changed and are prone to fall as their eastern neighbors ten years ago.

And it doens't take much for them to fall. Just remind that it was nevessaryu to strip of a couple of hundred meters of barbed wire and the "colossus" fell down to pieces exposing the rotten core.

Now lets see if for the first time the Europeans, for once, can deal with their problems without going to each others throats.
