Jorj, I don't agree that you can selectively apply T/A on a chart and disregard prices and events that appear to be extreme. They happened. It counts. End of story.

The only exception should be bad ticks like you get on QQQ charts.

I believe news and events can only speed up a process that was going to happen anyway. I disregard the notion that the market lives off that stuff. You can trade this market blind in a news blackout and still get the same results, IMO.

This applies only to indices and not individual stocks.
