Rather than this:

This post is really quite offensive. It is easy to sit on the sidelines and pass judgement. The internal situation is brand new and there is no model that can be used. These people are making it up as they go because they have no choice.

There will be mistakes, no doubt. The mistakes need to be identified in the press, no doubt. The leaders need to be held accountable, no doubt.

What this article and your comments do is referee the action like this is some sort of WWE event. You are more interested in seeing the people you don't like fail then you are in having your country be protected. I find this attitude deeply troubling.

How about this:

The internal situation is brand new and there is no model that can be used. These people are making it up as they go because they have no choice. There will be mistakes, no doubt. The mistakes need to be identified in the press, no doubt. The leaders need to be held accountable, no doubt. [But], what this article [does] is referee the action like this is some sort of WWE event.

I find this attitude deeply troubling.
