It appears that, if we're lucky, this thread may be able to return to what Poet admitted were some lively discussions. E claims (yet again) to have left (though of course being E she leaves the door open for returning whenever she feels the need to re-raise dead issues for the 2,456th time), and jla has just suggested that he's outta here. It may actually be that we can get on with some lively discussions that will bring back the posters who were driven away by the incessent beating on a long dead horse.

You mentioned an article Mr. X found, but never provided more. I would be interested if you can find it.

On another topic, have you run across the Love and Logic program of mostly Jim Fey, though now some others? P's school has adopted it as a basic approach. I find it sort of sad that teachers need such a canned approach which, if they aren't very careful, quickly degerates into cynicism.

Are you familiar with it?
