<What are the fundamental differences between BMI and Signal....>

I'll certainly defer to Chuck, but in the meantime will answer some of what I found (although Craig Rogers - techstocks.com - knows his stuff, and is worth talking to)

BMI is on a separate network (56K vs. 19.2K compressed feed for Signal, but I think there is also a 38K Signal feed in the works) and has a different interface. BMI basic for 1 year prepaid is $217 (plus exchange fees). Month to month is $239. With full options add $15. This includes BMI full story news (free) which tracks the Dow feed pretty well. It is real time. If you want real time "Dow" headlines, add $75. Dow full story *delayed* is another $39. Dow real time full story is not cheap. No level II for either product, but there is a purported strong demand for it. Seems the hesitancy is to NOT overload the channel for existing subscribers. I'm interested in hearing Chuck's time frame for level II (BMI and/or Signal).

Plus, they tout access to their "Signal Private Network" or sister "BMI Private Network", but having tried that months ago, it's good, but nothing you can't get for free elsewhere on the net. Still, it is a nice and convenient feature.

Plus, they have a 30 day trial (you just pay shipping/exchange fees). Definitely seems worth a look so I'm gonna give 'em a whirl. Will report back. And at LEAST you can get a live voice on the phone, and they REALLY know their product, field and the stock market. If their product is 3/4 as good as Craig was knowledgeable, I'll be pleased.

My 2 cents.

Regards-

Steve
