VT, I see others are chipping in with their own ratios, so I`ll give you mine. I `d say 10 juniors are a minimum. It`s easy for a junior to have a bad hole and be cut in half in one day, and most are lucky to have an even return, when not disappearing completely. So you need to spread the risks, especially if the juniors are pure explorers and have no projects in prefeasability or feasability yet in their portfolios. Even then, as with BAY, you run into other technical problems, locals, infrastructure not to mention country risk when present (turkey and SA) as well as legal wrangles (Venezuela ) or environmental ones... I know that you know all that, writing more because it is a slow day here and for the benefit of lurkers. So I would say, 10 names with pennies and 5 with juniors with solid properties and above a buck. Aren@t a lot of posters here referring to them as lottery tickets???
