Ralph doesn't care, is the more relevant answer imho ... he's got the oil, which the US wants no matter what, since besides burning up inordinate amounts of it daily their 'Commerce' department can then point to overall Can-US trade as having a 'positive balance in favour of Canada', wooo-woo, as they hope no one examines the makeup of that trade, and how few jobs are made by oil, in comparison to how many by the forestry they are assaulting

Also, albertan wood is pretty small, lumber is a tiny component of output, mostly they produce pulp and osb i think ... the Daishowa production goes to Japan, does it not? .... wouldn't matter, the pine lobby concerns itself only with lumber, and things manufactured with lumber ... but wood in general is a small thing in the province, oil predominates [ask any cattle rancher]

Actually, i meant to ask there why we do not see a single ralphistani poster making one (1) comment in support of his fellows, who while they may be in a different industry, remain his compatriots, as long as we are able to retain the country ... you've excused yourself, not familiar with the question, so that's fine ... permit me to point out however, that Borden was not intimately familiar with der Kaiser, nor MacKenzie King with Göring, yet they stood up on their hind legs, and defended us against aggression
