Young Chinese are losing filial piety. This is the not the Confucian way. It may be they are drinking too much coca-cola and their heads are being turned by the mere trappings of western standards of wordly success. One must think long term, and if one does, the ephemeral and untrustworthy nature of man's best plans becomes apparent. For this reason, things become needed that will afford financial security in what might seem now as unthinkable circumstances.
