Jay: I had to study my junior portfolio to answer, since I
go more by feel than by running tally. Of my 19 Canadian junior gold explorers, it takes 9 to get to 70% of that portfolio value. Top three right now are:

Anatolia Minerals (ymc/u.v): Turkey, of all places! The "/u" in Anatolia refers to it trading in US dollars (I give the Stockcharts ticker). see sedar.com for latest.

Cumberland Resources (cbd.to): Canadian deposit that may be economic only at a somewhat higher gold price. see sedar.com for latest on the company's Meadowbank deposit in Nunavut.

Chesapeake Gold (ckg.v): Prospective ground in Nicaragua and Mexico, excellent, hyper-thrifty management, lots of cash. See start-up announcement at sedar.com.

The .to and .v in these tickers refer to Toronto and Vancouver listings, respectively.

I am willing to go to a much greater concentration in 1-3 stocks than I have now, and I often have. My junior port formerly, for maybe 2 years, had Francisco Gold at a very disproportionate weighting, maybe 40%, of a higher total. I sold out in stages after Glamis acquired it. Chesapeake Gold, above, is the junior explorer remnant of Francisco, operated by the same guy (Randy Riefel) who started and succeeded with Francisco Gold.

My buying is always value-driven, so favorites vary with price. But I track the following fairly closely because I have a higher degree of confidence that they have deposits that will support their share prices over time, and I want them on sale:

Anatolia (see above)
Cumberland (see above)

Gabriel (gbu.to; Rosia Montana deposit in Romania; ongoing efforts to move a village as needed to build a mine, projected for 2003; see latest at sedar.com.

Eldorado (eld.to; small producer with upside in Kisladag property in Turkey; been too pricey for me). see sedar.com for latest)

Minefinders (mfl.to; Mexico; too pricey for me now; see sedar.com for latest drill update)

Due to price, I don't yet own any of the last three. If POG falls back much, especially for long, I will be buying them. There are many more speculative and interesting juniors, but these are among the safest in assets.
