Thanks for the tip. Worked like a charm! I didn't had
to Reset All Folders.

Otherwise I love the Win2000 Pro,
sooooooo much better than Win98SE, I stay away from the XP,
like to experiment too much, who needs the hustle with MS?

>>>> in explorer, instead of using the View menu, try Tools\Folder Options\View. at the very top of that dialog, click on the Like Current Folders button. this sets all of your folders to the same view. possibly, you may have to use the Reset All Folders button first. <<<<
