Link to replay of Tularik's CSFB Healthcare conference presentation: csfb.com This provides good background and information about TLRK's upcoming drug candidates. They are clearly working with a big vision, and they are confident that their drug discovery technology will continue to turn out a significant number of potential blockbuster drugs. They reiterated that they expect to announce an IND before the end of the year from their Metabolic Disease area. That would either be a compound for lipid disorders that increases HDL levels, one for treating Type II diabetes with comparable efficacy but reduced side effects, or for obesity, a compound that reduces appetite and promotes weight loss.
