I would be happy to talk about how the current US monetary policy can be improved, if you so wish. I did not "fail to propose a better answer" just did not realize that I was expected to provide solutions to whatever problems we talk about in international relations or macroeconomics.

The problems I have listed that go with lowering interest rates are not "remote potential dangers". They are risks that are thoroughly studied and documented. They are risks you take when you lower interest rates, which is in fact why the Fed does not often lower them.

To answer your question, yes, I am probably better qualified to talk economics than our friend Victor, since I have studied the subject AND have worked in financial markets these past seven years.
