INDONESIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 18, 2002-- Portal Software (Nasdaq:PRSF - News), a leading provider of convergent billing and customer management software, today announced that PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (PT Telkom), the largest telecommunications provider in Indonesia, has completed its implementation of Portal's Infranet®.
PT Telkom recently set up a VoIP Business Project (Probis VoIP) as a key driver in the company's expansion. Probis VoIP has captured more than 80,000 prepaid subscribers and close to 550,000 postpaid customers, all in less than one year of operation.

The new VoIP start-up will further PT Telkom's objectives to satisfy and benefit its customers, shareholders, employees, and stakeholders as demand for innovation and telecommunication services grow in sophistication.

"Portal Software looks forward to a long-term partnership with PT Telkom, one of Asia's progressive and dynamic companies, as it leads the region in telecommunication and information technology services," said John Tull, vice president and general manager at Portal Software Asia Pacific.
