Cytotekk,
I'm guessing from your monicker that you and I come from a background in Pathology. Imagine this as a gross examination. I dictate the presence of white, potatoe-like masses surrounded by lobular adipose tissue. I ink the margins, I section the mass, and lo and behold, under the microscope I see the cancer has spread beyond the margins. This cancer has metastasized from the RMIL thread to the TVSI thread. The cancer extends far beyond the margins.... We cut-out the masses, but we can't stop the spread of the disease.
Do we let the patient die? Do we allow this cancer to kill all our investments? No! We diagnose, for pathology is discovery! The cancer spreads as it always does, this we know...the cancer killing these 2 investments is as predictable, a barrage of complaints to regulatory agencies about the company, the principals of the company and some of its shareholders. Meanwhile, the cavernous naked short that resembles a blood filled cavity from which the cancerous mass was excised...still has cancer spreading far beyond its walls.... yes the cancer is killing our investments , but the MM's short is riddled with the remnants of the primary tumor....the naked short!! No matter how far the cancer has spread from its' primary sight, a good pathologist will diagnose the diseases primary source was the huge , undeclared , naked short!!! Pugs
