ot/Jim. Looks like a good outline to me.

I'd probably emphasize the intentional wrong doing a bit more than the economic ignorance and stupidity (important though they are).

One of the roles fulfilled by our educational and media establishments is to instill obedience in us toward the ruling elite (sometimes mistakenly referred to as patriotism).

The level of public ingnorance engendered by the disinformation and deception from our highly centralized and controlled media - on behalf of this entrenched elite oligarchy in W.S./D.C - goes a good job of obscuring the massive growth of institutionalized corruption, crime and incompetence in government while selectively making public whipping boys ONLY of deserving examples in the private sector when those crimes become too flamboyantly extreme to edit out of the evening news. Hence the solution is always a larger and more centralized government, which has become increasingly authoritarian over time.

Since Nixon slammed the gold window shut in 1971, and the last vestige of honest money was eliminated from our system, business and political ethics have been in crash dive mode. At the same time government has gained more and more power at the expense of the individual and the private sector. Not the kind of situation that makes a Libertarian comfortable.
