How much skill is required to hide in the weeds and ambush a couple of unsuspecting unarmed innocent families on their way to some prayer meeting? I don't agree with the fact that innocent civilians were killed. However the civilians were being escorted by a military convoy. Also, the ambush was in two stages. In the second stage, the Palestinian fighters lured the Israeli military into their sights. It was clearly a tactical success. However, I believe it was a strategic failure because it moved the Palestinian fighters no closer to a sovereign homeland. IC
