Tom now look what you did. Just when I was ready to put you on ignore you invite me to a dialog with reason.

I would like to draw attention to your comment. "I can only post links and tell of my experiences that show American Muslims to be just like other Americans. America has a culture where good seed can grow and bear fruit. The third world has cultures that are barren rock or thistles were goods plants wither and die or are choked off. A small Island of good land is Israel."

Tom that was beautifully expressed and I agree with it. Religion is the reaching out of an individual to link to the Supreme being and to the Supreme truth. Within that concept does it really matter which religion one chooses or that the individual whole-heartedly embraces the concepts of linking to God. There are Moslems in this country and throughout the world that shame me in their inner grace and embracing of a selfless dedicated life to that linking of the individual to the Supreme.
Perhaps I would better state that unfortunately those people who do practice Islam in the manner you have described have not been the people who influence what their cultures stand for. Can Islam be a religion of peace ? I would hope that those people who seek to practice it as such gain power. Perhaps in time we may overthrow those people who are the KKK of the Middle East and leave behind those who wish for peace.
