>>>Yea, and that's Ok with me, they are probably looking for patterns and sources of money transfers to suspected terrorist folks. Not paying your E-bill to Verison.<<<

you might want to look at this one a little closer. the idea here is the gov will just form this huge data base that will have unrestricted access to virtually every transaction in the country, other than cash. no government of mine has the right to unfettered access to everything i do. if we roll over and give up our rights in order to chase "terrorism" we have let them win on 9-11. the only way to really win is to do it our way. this total access is orwellian.

now i propose that we require warrents for any info gathering that the gathering agency can not sustain that they have reasonable evidence of terrorist activity. if there is good evidence then the feds should procede covertly with an open gate to use any options available to deal with the situation. in this situation there are no rights to be considered. these 5th column scum have no rights. we are at war and they are the enemy. find them and kill them. we have never had a major war on our land since our independance. not many areas can say that. but sadly we can not say that anymore. they have brought the theatre to our shores. we must deal with it at home for the first time.

they are fighting a psychological war. i would hope we have learned from Nam.
