Skeeter: You certainly have the courage of your convictions and obviously have researched and thought about this company. Your post on the GEMS thread seems to check out. (By the way, Atty Gens are politicians - having started an investigation (warranted or not) they must declare victory at the conclusion - whether they were victorious or not). I must say a couple of things concern me. The two top people make a hell of a lot of money for a company that has under performed ($500m - $600m in 96). I can give you the names of some CEO's with significantly larger companies making a whole lot less for doing a whole lot more. Second, they just registered half a million shares of insiders. Although this doesn't necessarily mean that they will sell, unregistered stock has to be registered some time, their timing sucks. When are earnings due and, if you know what is the expectation? Zacks doesn't report on this company
