Art,
i think they filed a while back to become public and are waiting on the sec. it's my understanding that it's a tough ordeal to get listed and though the company seems optimistic about getting a listing (i believe on NASDAQ) this fall, I know for a fact that the price of their stock is going to have to come up quite a bit (i beleive three dollars) and stabilize there for a while, plus what ever other hoops
they have to jump thru. i haven't messed much with bb stocks mostly because my broker says its a tough battle to get listing, but he highly recommended this company and i quite agree with his views.
one reason way back when on another post when i said that the stock
might hit the $3-$4 range by september was because it was my understanding that the company wanted to get listed this fall and might push (or hype as some may call it) to get the stock up for that
reason. BUT! it is quite obvious now that this company does not bother with BS or hype and the listing will come when the listing comes. meanwhile, the management keeps there focus and keeps sucking up companies with good revenues. that is my 2 cents on the listing deal
and i am by no means an expert.

also, the Wharton report that i asked you about was mentioned in post #115 by Archie. he gets the credit for that one. I called UMSI and asked them to send me the report. It is extremely informative if
you are not that familiar with all the things UMSI has their fingers in. my broker did a similar report in february when we were considering jumping on board so i am pretty familiar with all UMSI's
different endeavors. however, he only valued it at $3.10 a share while Wharton valued it at - get this - $4.90 a share; but there was 4 months that went by between the two reports and another aquisition.
give em a call and ask them to send the Wharton Capitol Management
report to you (it's free other than the call) and it is thorough and informative.

p.s.-I did find that article about the 8 mil. I like the south america
idea - and - UMSI sure has a lot of friends in the right places.
