The europeans have had expensive oil prices for years AND they seem to have many more oil spills along their coasts...You are right that prices will rise...Oil is a dirty natural resource that will become much more expensive to transport safely...we MUST start to aggressively look into alternative fuel sources -- I haven't heard Dubya, Cheney & co. talk to much about that though...;-)
