It's a little curious that Nokia's PR in March, that you linked, boasts that the 3585 will support 1X data, but the recent November PR stresses GPS and glow-in-the-dark faceplates. And is silent on data.

Seems a little fishy to me. I would expect them to be crowing about 1X data! Could they be pulling another fast one?
