Hi Nadine Carroll; Re: "Don't the annals of war also contain a tactic called "siege"? was also something called "frontal assault with superior force", if I remember correctly."

A siege is a military maneuver that puts the defense into a position where leaving their stronghold subjects them to an ambush. The proper way to defend against a frontal assault is to set up ambushes against the troops. But if you don't like the way I've used the words, then you're welcome to be my editor. As far as debating tactics go, concentrating on word games is rather ineffectual.

So far, the Palestinians don't seem to be terribly depressed, at least there doesn't appear to be any decrease in activity by them. Do you have a date by which you expect the Israelis to have solved this problem? Maybe a month where there will be 5 or fewer Isrealis killed in terrorist attacks? Do you have any other concrete predictions that you would share with us?
