BofA downgrades select auto parts suppliers Banc of America downgrades AXL, BWA, JCI, and LEA to Mkt Perform from Buy based on the belief that the following trends should pressure U.S. light-vehicle sales: 1) the young 7-year median age of the vehicle fleet, and 2) fewer off-lease vehicles; assuming U.S. unemployment stays near 6%, firm believes these 2 trends could redefine the auto sales range to 14-16 mln units from 16-17 mln units.
