Turkey has been living with its "unstable" neighbours for a long long time, Nadine. Way back before the Bush family ever decided to test their arsenal in the Middle East.

The Turks are NOT worried about a "nuclear armed" Saddam. That is a figment of your imagination.

Turkey's major worry in a probable Iraq war is the possibility of a Kurdish state bordering its own Kurds on the Southeast. Another, less important, issue is the costs involved, which caused them some headache during and following the first Iraq war.

Try to find a source that supports your view. Non-Debka and non-Imshin the neighbourhood blogger, if at all possible.
