The decline in Charter's stock has been a fiasco for venture capitalist Allen and is the biggest of his investments since he left Microsoft in 1983. He has invested about $7 billion in the company, giving him control of more than half of Charter's shares and 90 percent voting control. Today, Allen's investment is worth about $500 million.
I wonder why Bill Gates recently invested in Cox communications?
