Dear Andy:

You and Miss Graphs have both commented that there has been some similarity between "Mrs. Jock's" posts and "Jock's" posts. I am that reason. I first started working for Jock in 1995, and I have continued to work for the family since Jock's death. I will let you in on a little secret. The grammar (good or bad) is, generally speaking, not "Jock's" or "Mrs. Jock's" It is mine. Sometimes the thoughts were a collaboration of "Jock's" and mine.

"Mrs. Jock" is a strong independent woman who has done a great job of continuing to build her husband's businesses. The only thing she did to offend anybody on this thread was point out that Dipy has been negative on LSI from a trough to a peak to a trough. That simply means that his needle is stuck on the record. Shane was a know-it-all SOB, who had no ability to admit he was wrong. Dipy's category #2 fit Shane to a T. But for the most part, Jock respected and liked the people on this thread.

As far as "Mrs. Jock" is concerned, she is anything but the lemming you suggest she is. She came over to America in 1990 with $60 in her pocket, and built a successful business even before she met Jock. And I will bet dimes to dollars that "Mrs. Jock" gets a 50 percent return on her investment in LSI during the next year. Why? Because no matter what, you will still need to make chips, and the start up value of making those chips is greater than the value of LSI at its current price. And during the past four months, she has been doing an adequate job of trading Texas Instruments, which is a better trading vehicle than LSI.

By the way,Jock was a great employer--despite the fact that he was a sorry as*** Republican. This was a guy who once drove a cab because he was too proud to accept institutional help. He lived in an SRO in Uptown, and before he died, he bought the three flat next door.

I think that you people who held onto LSI like Bambi starring at at the halogens of an 18 wheeler are just plain jealous of Jock. He called it like he saw it, and he wasn't afraid to voice his opinions. He made money, and that's what the game is about. And had he lived, he would have been able to participate in high tech startups that surely will arise in the next year or so.

Now I know that this isn't a Jock is dead thread, but negative remarks like telling a woman that her husband isn't dead because she expresses investment sentiments that are similar to her deceased husband are so far off base, that it's disgraceful. So if you or the lovely Ms. Graphs want to tangle to with some really pi*** off Black bit**, just send me a personal message, and I will arrange a date, time and place to therapuetically massage your self indulgent white (oriental) gluteus maximus, minimus, piriformis, etc. into proper allignment.

Yours truly

Mary Shaw
